Q: Is your auction open to the public?
A: Our dealer auction allows us to welcome the public

Q: When is your auction?
A: Our internet auction starts at exactly 9:00 am every Wednesday

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, bank cashier's check, money order

Q: Who is eligible to purchase a car at the auction?
A: The public is welcomed once registered with the dealer and the deposit is paid

Q: Where do your cars come from?
A: Vehicles are from a variety of national donation outlets

Q: Are there warranties available?
A: No. All vehicles are sold on an “AS-IS, Where-Is” basis. There are no GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES EXPRESSES OR IMPLIED.

Q: What are my advantages in buying vehicles from Express Auto Auction?
A: Prices. Sometimes it is a gamble but, that’s why the prices are much, much lower than buying from a car lot. There are risks involved.

Q: How long does the auction usually last?
A: Typically the bidding  lasts approximately 1 minute per vehicle, the public is welcome.

Q: How do I know what is going to be sold at your next auction?
A: We have internet auctions each and every week. The best way is to come to the Auction and take a look or check out our website at expressautoauction.net/inventory/

Q: Can we look/check at the vehicles before the auction?
A: Yes! You are able to take your time and inspect the vehicles before you decide on placing a bid

Q: Is there a fee/cost to enter the auction?
A: Yes. There is a $500 cash deposit that is required. You are able to use your deposit towards the purchase of a vehicle if you win a bid or get your deposit returned to you, a valid id is required.

Q: How long do I have to pay the balance of my purchase from the Wednesday Otay yard auctions?
A: You are required to pay for and pick-up your vehicle(s) the next day on Thursday by 4:00pm. There will be a $50.00 LATE FEE for payments and pickups after Thursday.

Q: How long do I have to pay the balance of my purchase from the Saturday Vista yard auctions?
A: You are required to pay for and pick-up your vehicle(s) on Tuesday by 4:00pm. There will be a $50.00 LATE FEE for payments and pickups after Tuesday.

Q: Do you finance purchases?
A: No, All purchases must be paid in bank cashier's check, money order or cash.

Q: How do I register my vehicle?
A: We will provide the winning bidder all necessary paperwork, including DMV registration and transfer forms. All registration and State fees are the buyer’s sole responsibility.

Q: How can I pay for my vehicle?
A: A $500 cash deposit is required and can be used towards the vehicle(s), only cash is accepted, and vehicles must be paid for and picked up the next business day after auction.

Q: If I purchased a vehicle that has a bad transmission/motor, can I get a refund?
A: No! All vehicles are sold “AS-IS, WHERE-IS.” Unfortunately, some vehicles do require minor to major work and purchasing these vehicles may be a gamble. If you are not in a position to take these chances, please do not bid on any vehicle(s), we recommend going to an auto dealership that can offer guarantees and/or warranties. Happy bidding!
